What DVD or Blu-ray did you just watch? Put 'em here.

P.S. I'm working on some new star rating icons.

Wadd: The Life And Times Of John C. Holmes:star::star::star::star::star:

I still dont know how he could ever get any chick not getting paid to fuck him to actually want to be with him, let alone get someone to marry him. Still scum to me. Blah.

Misty Dawn is one dellusional, opportunistic bitch. What a dumb fuck (no pun intended).

I am still in love with the audio in the movie! :bow:

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story-:star::star::star::star::halfstar:
"You never bought drugs! Not once!"

"The mouse with the overbite explained how the rabbits were ensnared
'N the skinny scanty sylph trashed the apothecary diplomat
Inside the three-eyed monkey within inches of his toaster oven life"
"What is this song about?!"
"You guys are dumb! This song is deep!"

Evil Dead :star::star::star::halfstar:
I had forgotten how good this movie is. The cinematography is a little obvious but amazing, nonetheless. This is what a low budget film should be!

The Wicker Man (2006) :star::nostar::nostar::nostar:
This went from a half star to a star because of three scenes:
1. The scene where he punches some chick while wearing a bear suit
2. The scene where he beats the shit out of some teenage girl
3. The scene where he has bees poured on his face and he screams "My eyes! My eyes! Oh Gawwd!"
Other than that it was terrible. It is a great premise done oh so very wrong.

No Country for Old Men :star::star::star::star:
Just about perfect. It is even better than the book; they kept most everything and took out what didn't need to be there. This is the first time I watched it at home and I actually noticed that there was music during scenes which I had missed before. Did anyone else not notice the music until another viewing?

Lots of extras that are actually interesting. I haven't listened to the commentaries yet, but even if they suck, I liked this movie enough to give it five out of five.

If you're not into the Narnia story, adjust your score down accordingly. :D

I was in the mood for some Laurel and Hardy last night and watched a couple of shorts. The first one was one I had seen as a kid and it didn't hold up as well as some. It had some funny moments but was not as funny as they can be.
The other was a silent short that worked surprisingly well. I always have felt that L&H had wonderful dialogue repartee and wasn't sure how well they would be without dialogue. They are both still hilarious! Simple, funny stuff. And just to show off, this is the collection I have to watch them on:

Hellsing Season 1 :star::star::star::nostar:

Yes this anime series could have been better, but for a stylistic journey into vampirism, this felt right. Could have been longer and some of the stories were lame/boring. But Arucard was fucking sweet. I only wish there was more episodes with the regenerator. Pretty awesome series! And yes, I sat down with a friend last night and watched all 13 episodes in a row.
